Ugh moving sucks. I'm excited, scared, annoyed and sad all at the same time. We have to make a decision whether we want to move in May or August. Here are the pros and cons of both.

May Pros:
I don't have insurance right now and Jordyn's is up in the air and we would have insurance as soon as we moved and Paul started work. I wouldn't have to worry about anything happening and paying out of pocket.

We could get settled and start saving for our wedding back in Michigan in the Fall.

We could have a going away party and a graduation party for Paul.

Ummm that's about it but number one is a big one!

May Cons:
I have to spend the entire summer in TEXAS! 70 degrees in Michigan is tank top weather... 100 degrees is.... Naked weather? Holy crap.

I have less time to spend with baby Kennedy and baby Jackson before I leave.

I have to miss my own birthday with my family! Depending on the date.

August pros:
I get a lot of time to spend with my family before we leave.

I don't have to sweat to death in the heat all summer.

I can go visit Emily & Eleanor one more time before I move.

August cons:
I have to wait 7 more months before I get insurance.

I have to get all settled and then fly back for a wedding less than a month later.

August is still hot but not as bad as the rest of the summer.

So help me decide! I know it's not anyone's decision but ours but what would you do?? I'm very torn and it's very upsetting to me to have to leave in May but I'm going to have to leave sooner or later ya know? Right now it's more important to me to have insurance for myself and my daughter but I just wasn't prepared to be leaving in less than 4 months. Ugh...

Honestly, the May pro's outweigh the cons completely. And May's pro's outweigh august's pro's too. I moved to Las Vegas during the summer so I totally get the heat thing, but you get used to it. And yes it sucks not seeing family and such, but insurance is a MAJOR thing!

Personally, I would move in May. Give you more time to settle in and you won't be moving everything around the house in super hot weather. If you move in august, you'll have to keep the doors open while you're moving stuff in and out of the house and you and poor Jordyn will DIE, lol!

I would move in May

Thanks Adrienne! Paul called the woman from HR today and told her May. I got Jordyn insurance till then but I still don't have any for four more months. I started to think about it more and more and insurance is my number one. It just sucks because both my sisters are giving birth within the next three months so I don't get to spend any time with the babies. I guess I should stop bitching and just be happy we have a job with this economy!

How's your belly bean? I miss ya!

I vote August..... You can still come see me in March/April if you DO move in May though...

I know you already decided, but I think May is the best choice. I know the summer in TX doesn't sound like that much fun, but it sounds pretty similar to CA. I think we got up to 111 degrees here last summer! You kinda get used to it, lol. The worst part is the air conditioning bill. :(

I'm sure it will be difficult no matter when you leave. It will be exciting too though! Good luck packing!
